About Us

The coal mining town of Moranbah is situated about 200 kilometres southwest of the city of Mackay, Queensland, Australia.

Affiliation.

Moranbah Darts Association Inc. is affiliated to the Zone 7 Darts Association Inc. who in turn is affiliated to our state body, the Queensland Darts Association Inc. In Australia each state/territory has a charter with the Darts Federation of Australia (D.F.A.). The D.F.A. is a member of the World Darts Federation.

History.

Moranbah Darts Association was first formed in June 1983 and became affiliated to Zone 7 Darts Association in 1984. Our club became incorporated in 1998.

Current Status.

Currently we have a membership of around 60 people who comprise 8 teams of mixed competition. The venue for our fixture matches is at our club house situated at 40 Bacon Street Moranbah (next to Caltex servo). Fixtures are played on a Tuesday night commencing at 7.30 pm.
